We are excited to announce the first two webinars in our renewed 2026 programme.

On 17 September, we welcome Reem Nassour of NAO Architects and David Gilbey of d-lighting for Architectural Lighting: An Architect’s Perspective & Insights. This unique discussion will explore the creative relationship between architecture and lighting design, offering valuable insights into how collaboration between disciplines can transform the spaces we create.

Then on 8 October, Karim Daoudi of RELUX Informatik AG will take us into the future of lighting design with RELUX Feature Innovations & their Beneficial Impact for Lighting Designers. From advanced visualisation tools to AI powered workflows, this session will showcase how emerging technologies are helping designers work more efficiently and communicate their ideas with greater impact.

About: Yale educated architect Reem Nassour, founder of NAO (Nassour Architecture Office) in the UAE, joins internationally recognised lighting and visual designer David Gilbey for a unique conversation exploring light through the architect’s lens. Having developed her craft with Santiago Calatrava before establishing her own practice, Reem brings a fresh, sensitive and highly creative perspective on the integration of natural and artificial light within architecture. David, renowned throughout the global lighting community for his passion, creativity and support of emerging talent, brings decades of lighting design insight to this engaging discussion.

This curated presentation explores the creative chemistry between architecture and lighting design, examining how successful collaborations shape exceptional spaces. Through the discussion, Reem will share her approach to light, highlight selected projects and reflect on the challenges of seamless lighting integration, reduction of visual clutter and the relationship between architects and lighting designers.
