With a wealth of experience in various roles, he currently serves as the Gauteng Business Development Manager for Tridonic, a leading global provider of smart and efficient lighting solutions. His leadership extends beyond his professional role, as he has been the Chairperson of the Gauteng branch of the Illumination Engineering Society of South Africa (IESSA) since 2017, fostering collaboration and innovation within the industry.
Henk’s expertise and interests lie in energy-efficient lighting, sustainability, and the exploration of new lighting technologies. He is passionate about advancing the role of lighting in green buildings, emphasizing its impact on climate change, health, and well-being. His work often highlights the importance of adopting state-of-the-art lighting solutions, such as LED technology and smart controls, to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions.
