By the time that you read this article, we will already be in the second half of the year 2023.

We are all familiar with the expression “Time flies”. I know that it is true, especially when one is busy and there are so many tasks to complete, from relatively trivial tasks to executing complex lighting designs and meeting delivery targets.

So, who was it that originated this expression? Well, it was none other than the bard himself, William Shakespeare when he said: “The swiftest hours, as the flew” and that was followed by Alexander Pope who stated: “Swift fly the years”.
